Majuli, the cradle of Assam
This is the largest river island in the entire world. Located in the waters of Brahmaputra it is a perfect mixture of heritage and culture. This place is suggested to be visited soon as this one is going down the river slowly. Places to visit here are Phatobihu, Molai forest and Mohghuli Chapori. One can also visit the centre of arts and music here known as the Kamalabari Satra and Dakhinpat Satra. There is also a very popular picnic spot called Tengapania.
Tawang, the summer cooler
This place is located in the lap of eastern Himalayas. It is soaked in the Buddhist spirit and the dotted canvas of Tawang is one of the most beautiful places one can explore in India. One should definitely visit the Tawang Monastery, Urgelling Monastery, Tawang War Memorial and Kinmey Monastery here. Also never miss the high altitude lakes here like Ptso and Sangster.
Tripura, the queen of Hills
This place is famous for its medieval history. It is also the smallest state among the Seven Sisters. The scenic nature and lush green background makes this place a worth visit.
